HOW TO CONNECT YOUR TV TO EXTERNAL SPEAKERS / HEADPHONES

The following instructions will work for any audio that usually comes out of your TV speakers. ie. TV Channels, XBox, PlayStation, Nintendo, DVD or Bluray Player, Cable TV, etc.

1. Plug the DAC into a power socket behind your TV using the Power cable.

2. Plug your TV into the DAC using the Optical cable (or use a Coaxial cable if your TV is a bit older).

3. Plug any speaker or headphones (such as the Zxen Airlink Multi-User Headset System) into the DAC.

4. Open the Settings Menu on your TV and find the Sound Settings. Most TVs will have three output options: TV Speaker, Digital Output or Both. Set this to Both so you can still use the TV Volume control whenever you want.

5. The Volume Control for your external speakers or headphones is independent from your TV Speaker Volume Control.

6. Set the volume levels on your TV and external audio to your desired level. If you are using the Zxen Airlink Multi-User Headset System, each person can control their own headset volume.
